Professional Excavators; health and safety programs promote a safe environment for everyone at the jobsite. Our crews will follow our own safe work practices plus any additional safety policies required by your company.
Professional Excavators’ site supervisors are responsible for ensuring safe work practices are followed at each jobsite – and every employee is expected to do their part. Site supervisors are required to take Supervisor Training in Accident Reduction Techniques through the Alberta Construction and Safety Association; Leadership for Safety Excellence and Petroleum Tank Management. Senior management and Professional Excavators’ full-time safety officer also ensure safe work practices are continually improved upon.
Professional Excavators received its Certificate of Recognition (COR), from Alberta Human Resources and Employment for its jobsite safety programs in 1994. As well, certification from the National Safety Council for the transportation side of our business was granted in May 2009. A Safety Audit conducted through the Alberta Motor Transport Association on the transportation business segment will further enhance our safety standards and work procedures.
SafeAware
We teamed up with SafeAware to ensure our trucks are driven safely and courteously. SafeAware allows the public to report unsafe driving anonymously by phone and online. We have placed SafeAware decals displaying the website and phone number on all Professional Excavators trucks.
