Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. currently has an immediate opening for an experienced Pipelayer in our Underground Business Unit.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of sewer and water experience

• Proven ability to install PVC, HDPE piping materials, install manholes, catch basins at the design grade and elevations required

• Ability to direct Excavators Operator in excavating and correct elevations

• Good understanding of construction surveys

• Ensure pipe is “on grade”

• Ensure all installed materials are properly bedded

• Assist Foreman

• Physical strength, stamina and coordination to complete assigned duties

• Ability to withstand working outside, on uneven ground for long periods of time and in varying weather conditions

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work safely and stay alert at all times

• Pass mandatory Drug, Alcohol & Fitness Testing

• Valid Driver’s License (Class 5) and reliable transportation
