Grademan

Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. currently has an immediate opening for an experienced Grademan in our Base & Grading Business Unit.

Requirements:

• 1- 3 years’ experience as a Grade Checker using a laser level.

• Direct subordinate crew members through their daily tasks.

• Direct gravel trucks and other delivery units as to where to unload onsite.

• Ability to work safely and stay alert to surroundings at all times.

• Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

• Establishing and maintaining site layout and construction staking using a laser level.

• Reading and interpreting project drawings relevant to site work activities and projects.

• Ability to observe, direct and control equipment activities to conform to stake references.

• Willingness and ability to assist the ground crew when required.

• Physical strength, stamina and coordination to complete assigned duties.

• Ability to withstand working outside, on uneven ground for long periods of time and in varying weather conditions.

• Clear communication skills.

• Pass mandatory Drug, Alcohol and Fitness Testing.

• Valid Driver’s License (Class 5) and reliable transportation
