Earthworks Laborer

Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. currently has an immediate opening for an Earthworks Laborer in our Earthworks and Excavation Business Unit.

Requirements:

• Assist foremen, lead hands, and equipment operators.

• Operate small tools and equipment, including measurement devices, hammers, drills, plate packers, pumps, etc.

• Direct construction, public, and pedestrian traffic around and through work zones.

• Ensure all work is completed within specifications and according to blueprints.

• Maintain tools, cords, and equipment to ensure they are safe and in good working order.

• Keep work areas clean and orderly.

• Exhibit physical strength and coordination to perform manual labor in various environments and conditions.

• Comfortably lift up to 80 lbs unassisted.

• Demonstrate clear communication skills.

• Work safely and stay alert at all times.

• Pass mandatory drug, alcohol, and fitness testing.

• Hold a valid Driver’s License (Class 5) and have reliable transportation.
